FTTDC - Ohio Logistics is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations in Bowling Green, OH. You will operate forklifts, reach trucks, and clamp trucks to move, load, unload, and stage products while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of forklift experience, familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse systems, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years forklift operating experience required.
  • Experience operating reach/clamp trucks.
  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse technology.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Load and unload trailers while ensuring product accuracy and damage prevention.
  • Move, stage, and store products according to customer and operational requirements.
  • Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and product movement.
  • Perform inventory transactions and assist with cycle counts as needed.

Job description

We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This position is responsible for operating powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and clamp trucks, to safely move, store, load, unload, and stage products. The ideal candidate is experienced in warehouse operations, committed to workplace safety, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Load and unload trailers while ensuring product accuracy and damage prevention.
  • Move, stage, and store products according to customer and operational requirements.
  • Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and product movement.
  • Perform inventory transactions and assist with cycle counts as needed.
  • Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and customer service goals.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of forklift operating experience required.
  • Experience operating reach trucks and/or clamp trucksrequired
  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse technology.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic math and counting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and climb occasionally.
  • Ability to work safely around moving equipment and warehouse traffic.
  • Warehouse and distribution center setting.
  • Exposure to forklifts, machinery, and moving products.
  • Moderate to high noise levels.
  • Indoor and outdoor work as business needs require.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures throughout the year.
  • Occasional manual labor and physical tasks.
