Job Description

A Jr. Data Scientist is responsible for ensuring that activities of Universe Estimation and Sample Design are carried out on time and according to corporate standards, supported by the supervision of his immediate superior.

Responsibilities
  1. Guarantee the quality and integrity of the data used in analyses.
  2. Use statistical methodologies to analyze data.
  3. Innovate through a critical review of statistical designs and market needs.
  4. Apply strong statistical data analysis skills.
  5. Experience in large-scale sampling and/or surveys.
  6. Knowledge of Machine Learning/Neural Networks.
Qualifications
About you

Ability to analyze statistical processes, self-directed, proactive, and with leadership qualities. You generate ideas for improvement, think differently, are passionate about working in a high-performing team, and willing to support special projects or initiatives as needed.

Requirements
  • Degree in Actuary, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or similar.
  • 0 to 1 year of experience with a strong capacity for statistical data analysis.
  • Intellectual curiosity and persistence to find answers.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Ability to interact with multicultural remote teams.
  • Interest in continuous learning and adopting new technologies/tools.
  • Minimum one year of experience handling Python and knowledge of SQL.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in large-scale sampling and/or surveys.
