Job Description

A Jr. Data Scientist is responsible for ensuring that activities related to Universe Estimation and Sample Design are completed on time and according to corporate standards, under the supervision of their immediate superior.

Responsibilities
  1. Guarantee the quality and integrity of the data used in analyses.
  2. Apply statistical methodologies to analyze data.
  3. Innovate through critical review of statistical designs and market needs.
  4. Demonstrate strong capacity for statistical data analysis.
  5. Experience in large-scale sampling and/or surveys.
  6. Knowledge of Machine Learning/Neural Networks.
Qualifications

Ideal candidates should be self-directed, proactive, and demonstrate leadership qualities. They should generate ideas for improvement, be passionate about high performance, and support special projects or initiatives as needed.

Requirements
  • Degree in Actuary, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
  • 0 to 1 year of experience with strong statistical data analysis skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and persistence to find answers.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Ability to work remotely with multicultural teams.
  • Interest in learning and adopting new technologies/tools.
  • At least one year of experience with Python and knowledge of SQL.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in large-scale sampling and surveys.
