Job summary

Culper Technology is seeking a junior Cloud Software Engineer to contribute to mission-critical Cyber work in Annapolis Junction, MD. You’ll develop and enhance secure cloud-based applications while using modern cloud and DevOps tools in an Agile team.

Ideal candidates have about 2+ years of software development experience, solid Java foundation, and a desire to grow in cloud, DevOps, and full-stack development. TS/SCI with Polygraph is required, and onsite work with telework flexibility.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with current Polygraph is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• 2+ years of software development/engineering experience.
• Experience with Java development.
• Experience with Git or GitLab.
• Cloud experience or exposure is a plus.
• Cloud certification is preferred, such as:

About the role

This is a great opportunity for a junior Cloud Software Engineer looking to grow their skills while working on mission-critical Cyber work in Annapolis Junction. You’ll help develop and enhance secure cloud-based applications supporting national security, while working with modern cloud and DevOps technologies in an Agile environment.

The role is ideal for someone with a couple of years of software development experience who has an active TS/SCI with Polygraph and wants to continue building their cloud and engineering skills. The position is primarily onsite, with some telework flexibility based on customer needs.
