Fundamental in Summerville, SC invites applications for an Activity Assistant. The role focuses on organizing activities that support cognitive, social, and physical well-being of seniors, bringing joy and engagement to residents.

The position is part-time (9:30am–4:30pm) with alternating weekends. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff when applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required; college credits are preferred.
• Preferred aptitude for, and some training in, arts and crafts.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and provide proof of liability insurance required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and implement activities for patients and residents.
• Transport, set up for activities, and prepare materials as needed.
• Conduct one-on-one activity therapy and group activities to promote progress.
