A senior living community in Covington is hiring a Part Time Weekend Activities Assistant. The role involves planning, assisting, and overseeing resident activities to promote physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Qualifications
Preferred Associate's Degree in social work, recreation, sociology, psychology or a related field.
1-3 years experience in assisted living or long term care with memory care patients preferred.

Responsibilities
Assist in the development and oversight of resident activities.
Conduct programs providing opportunities for residents in community.
Coordinate community planned functions from setup to breakdown.
Prepare and organize a calendar of events.
Work flexible hours for planned activity events.
Skills
Proficient verbal, written and presentation skills
Ability to encourage and motivate older adults
Strong skills in organization, delegation and consensus building
Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
Demonstrated creative ability
Education
