Qualifications

• No minimum education requirement.
• 3–5 years journeyman welding experience.
• Weld tests, TWIC and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Weld or tack weld parts using electric arc, gas or spot welding methods.
• Join pipes, tanks, and metal pieces per blueprints and work orders.
• Preheat pieces, adjust gas/air flow, and monitor flame temperature.
• Inspect welds for strength and conformity to specifications.
• Coordinate with crane operators for lifting and positioning heavy parts.
• Maintain safety procedures and PPE usage; perform other duties as assigned.
