Job summary

Dynetek Solutions is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to install, energize, and repair overhead and underground distribution systems across projects for utilities and commercial clients. You will operate bucket trucks and pole equipment, working both independently and as a crew lead under a Foreman, with emphasis on safety and compliance with NESC standards.

Preferred candidates have a completed Lineman apprenticeship or equivalent journeyman experience, a Class A CDL, OSHA 10, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Lineman apprenticeship or 4+ years journeyman experience.
• Journeyman Lineman certification or verifiable field experience.
• Proficiency in overhead and underground distribution construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electric distribution lines and equipment.
• Install, replace, and maintain poles, cross-arms, insulators, conductors, transformers, and switches.
• Perform energized (hot) and de-energized line work using appropriate PPE.
• Frame and set poles, string and sag conductors, and complete pole-top work.
• Troubleshoot and restore service during outages, including storm response.
• Direct and mentor Apprentice Linemen and Groundmen on safety and techniques.
• Read construction prints, staking sheets, and utility standards.
