Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Lineman Non-Union to install and maintain overhead distribution and transmission systems, including poles, cables, transformers, and switches. This role requires knowledge of energized high voltage systems and the ability to work safely on energized and de-energized lines.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of electrical linework experience.
• Proof of work experience, schooling, and any certifications earned during your career.

Responsibilities

• Setting poles and anchors; stringing overhead wire.
• Installing transformers, lightning arrestors, cutouts, crossarms, insulators, switches and switchgear.
• Performing construction, maintenance, or repair on energized and de-energized overhead lines with safety rules.
• Troubleshooting primary and secondary systems.
• Replacing fuses and clearing faulted circuits.
• Ensuring daily testing and inspection of tools and equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Reporting injuries, near misses, and safety concerns to the Foreperson.
• Carrying out other duties related to overhead power installations.
