Mid-Continental Restoration Co., Inc. is accepting applications for journeyman tuckpointers for our office in Kansas City, MO. Skillfully and safely performs work scopes required in exterior building repair and concrete restoration.

Travel to projects, maintain tools, operate grinders and hammers, and follow safety policies. Join a team with long-standing experience in restoration and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Journeyman level experience in tuckpointing and masonry work.
• Experience with brick removal and replacement.
• Knowledge of caulking to manufacturer specs.
• Ability to work from scaffolds and ladders at height.
• Safety policies per OSHA and company rules.

Responsibilities

• Travel to project sites throughout territory.
• Maintain own hand tools for the trade.
• Operate power tools including high speed grinders and impact hammers.
• Follow MCR and OSHA safety policies and applicable laws.
• Achieve production rates and quality standards as set forth by the industry and MCR.
• Work high above the ground from scaffolding, lifts and rooftops.
• Erect and rig scaffolding and staging equipment.
• Handle acids, detergents and other trade-related chemicals.
