Job summary

Western Construction Group in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Union Skilled Laborer to join our restoration and preservation team. You will work on masonry, waterproofing, caulking, and concrete tasks, with emphasis on quality and safety.

Experience in a trade is preferred and you should be able to read drawings and follow instructions. Requirements include lifting 50 pounds, working at heights, and owning your own hand tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in a trade or craft preferred.
• Able to demonstrate reading, writing and math skills.
• Physically able to stand, lift 50+ lbs, and work at heights.
• Able to read drawings and follow safety policies.
• Own hand tools of the trade and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in masonry, lintel, mortar removal and repair as assigned.
• Handle waterproofing, caulking, concrete repair and related work.
• Work within the defined area according to craft standards.
• Meet safety requirements and use protective equipment.
