Job summary

Pape’ Kenworth in Klamath Falls, OR is seeking a Journeyman Truck Technician/Mechanic to work on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks. You will diagnose, repair, and service trucks to maximize uptime and safety. You will rebuild components and work under pressure to meet high standards.

The role requires hands-on mechanical ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication with customers and team members. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with competitive pay and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience on medium/heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks including engine repair and chassis work.
• Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge; Cummins MX software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions or system failures in medium/heavy-duty trucks.
• Repair or rebuild cabs, steering, engines, transmissions, axles, differentials, brakes, clutches, electrical and air systems.
• Maintain and service trucks to maximize uptime and safety.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure work meets safety and quality standards.
