Job summary

Pape’ Kenworth, a premier truck and equipment dealer, seeks a Journeyman Truck Technician to service medium and heavy‑duty class 7/8 trucks. You’ll diagnose, repair, and rebuild systems to maximize uptime in a shop setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on medium and heavy‑duty class 7/8 trucks including engine repair, electronic trouble‑shooting, HVAC and chassis repair.
• Must provide own tools and have basic computer knowledge.
• Cummins MX software experience preferred; Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair medium and heavy‑duty class 7/8 trucks, ensuring repairs are accurate and timely.
• Analyze truck malfunctions or system failures and determine corrective actions.
• Repair or rebuild cabs, steering, engines, transmissions, axles, differentials, brakes, clutches, electrical and air systems.
