Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC's Erie Tool Shop is seeking a skilled Toolmaker (Levels I–III) to construct, refurbish and repair mold components using CNC and manual machines. You will read blueprints, schedule workflows and assist supervisors in daily operations.

You will progress through Level I–III with Mastercam/Mazatrol programming exposure, hold tight tolerances and contribute to continuous improvement in a high‑safety manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent.
• Ability to climb on/off forklift safely when required.
• Must be certified Journeyman Tool Maker or equivalent experience.
• Read blueprints accurately.
• Ability to handle heavy loads and stand for long hours.
• Journeyman levels require experience in grinding, milling, lathe, welding, EDM, etc.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC or manual machines as assigned.
• Use precision measuring tools to record dimensions.
• Assist superiors with day‑to‑day activities and scheduling.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Level II/III: program using Mastercam/Mazatrol; hold tight tolerances.
