Job summary

Amcor LLC in Erie, PA seeks a Toolmaker to construct and refurbish mold components using CNC and manual machines. Journeyman levels I–III responsibilities include guiding teammates, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety and quality in daily shop activities.

The role requires journeyman certification or equivalent experience, strong programming skills, and the ability to hold tight tolerances while meeting production schedules.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Proficient in Mastercam, Mazatrol programming.
• Experience with CNC operations and setup.
• Journeyman tool maker certification or equivalent experience.
• Ability to program and hold tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC/manual machines to construct and refurbish mold components.
• Maintain safe shop conditions and report non-conformities.
• Read blueprints and schedule operations.
• Train Level I/II staff and assist supervisors.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
