Job summary

Amcor seeks a Toolmaker for the Evansville Tool Shop to construct, refurbish and repair mold components using CNC and manual machines. The role covers Levels I–III responsibilities, including reading blueprints and maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include programming with Mastercam/Mazatrol, performing precision measurements, and supporting supervisors to optimize workflow and scheduling. Training and safety are emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspect components.
• Experience with CNC/Manual tooling and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual machines to construct, refurbish, and repair mold components.
• Follow safety procedures and respond to emergencies per procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of the shop and equipment.
• Assist supervisors in day-to-day activities and production scheduling.
• Read blueprints and verify dimensions with precision measuring tools.
