Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a hands-on Tooling Technician to assemble injection and blow molds and operate manual and CNC machines. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and precision in a tooling manufacturing environment.

You will read blueprints, use precision tools, and maintain a clean, safe shop while supporting continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities include assembling molds, operating equipment, recording precise dimensions, and responding to facility issues.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent.
• Able to accurately read blueprints.
• Ability to climb on and off a forklift safely.
• Ability to push/pull loads of approximately 75 lbs daily.
• Able to stand/walk for 7.5 hours of an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and check all types and styles of injection or blow molds.
• Operate assigned make of manual or CNC machine(s).
• Use precision measuring tools to accurately record dimensions of components.
• Assist superiors in day-to-day activity and maintain shop cleanliness.
• Respond to facility issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work overtime as needed.
