Job summary

Lozier Corporation is seeking a Tool & Die Journeyman to plan, layout, and perform bench and machine operations to build, service, repair, and maintain tools, dies, and fixtures across the facility, with forklift operation possibly required.

You will provide instruction to apprentices and trainees, and must wear appropriate PPE. The role emphasizes Lozier’s safety standards and quality expectations throughout daily tasks and production support.

Qualifications

• Education: A degree in tool and die technology is preferred.
• Experience: Four years of previous tool & die experience is required.
• Must possess a good attendance record.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild dies and fixtures.
• Operation of a variety of hand and powered tools including surface grinders, milling machines, lathes, drill presses, belt sanders, saws, hoists, clamps, and measuring tools is necessary for this position.

• Occasional walking, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, and elevated reaching.
