Atkore is seeking a Tool & Die Maker - Journeyman for the 2nd shift in Wayne, MI. The position offers an hourly wage of $36.84 plus shift premium, with responsibilities including tool/die making and fixture maintenance.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, set up, and operate conventional and CNC tools to meet specifications. The candidate should have 3–5 years in Tool & Die making, a Journeyman card, and a High School Diploma/GED, with CAD/CNC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Journeyman cardholder required.
• 3–5 years experience in Tool & Die making.
• 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience using CAD and CNC software preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot machine assemblies to repair tools and dies.
• Run tests to ensure tools and dies meet specifications.
• Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools.
• Select proper metals and materials to meet project specifications.
• Maintain paperwork and follow safety protocols.
