Job summary

Jgpete is seeking a skilled automotive technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems. You will perform routine maintenance, complete warranty repairs, and document all work clearly in our shop environment.

Stay current with new technology through manufacturer training, review technical service bulletins, and work with service advisors and parts staff to ensure timely repairs. A valid driverot license and strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a technician (automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment preferred).
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair a broad range of mechanical issues.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and service software.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use digital repair documentation.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (e.g., shop or garage setting).
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
