Sunset Ford is hiring a Service Technician in Sunset Hills, Missouri, to join our team and perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles. The role includes diagnosing issues, inspecting systems, and completing work to dealership standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Technician.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability to learn quickly and provide top-notch customer service.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Clean and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Inspects vehicle for safety and maintenance needs such as worn brakes or tires.
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning.
• Provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
