ProLift Rigging, a private industrial construction company, seeks a hands-on Rigging Technician to align cranes, install rigging systems, and operate heavy equipment in various project sites within California. The role requires rigorous safety practices and strong physical ability.

You will work with a team to prepare gear, test systems, and train through our LMS. The position offers competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for growth in mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

• Requires strong mechanical reasoning and math aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements and weights.
• Flexibility to travel, work overtime, and adapt schedules.

Responsibilities

• Aligns, levels, and anchors cranes and equipment.
• Assembles and installs supporting structures, rigging, hoist, and pulling gear.
• Connects pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps.
• Cleans and dresses machine surfaces and parts.
• Controls movements of heavy equipment in tight spaces.
• Dismantles and stores rigging equipment.
• Manipulates rigging lines and hoists loads as required.
• Selects appropriate gears, cables, and shackles for loads.
• Signals or directs workers during hoisting to ensure safety.
• Tests rigging for safety and reliability before lifting.
