Job summary

ProLift Rigging is hiring for a rigging and lifting technician to join a privately owned industrial construction team. The role involves assembling, rigging, and operating cranes and hoisting gear at client sites.

You will align and level equipment, connect rigging components, and guide loads while ensuring safety and compliance with job requirements. Ability to travel and work overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical reasoning to evaluate loads and setups.
• Good perception of math applications including weight, balance and tolerances.
• Flexible schedule, willingness to travel and work overtime.
• Must pass a drug test, fit-for-duty assessment and background check.
• Able to lift 75 lbs. and handle rigging tasks daily.

Responsibilities

• Aligns, levels, and anchors cranes and equipment.
• Assembles and installs rigging, hoist, and pulling gear.
• Connects pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts and shackles.
• Controls movements of heavy equipment in confined spaces.
• Dismantles, maintains, and stores rigging equipment.
