Job summary

ProLift Rigging is a privately owned industrial construction company based in the United States, seeking skilled riggers to join our on-site team. You will align and anchor cranes, assemble rigging systems, and manage lifting operations in confined spaces to support mission-critical equipment moves.

The role requires strong mechanical reasoning, math accuracy, and the ability to travel and work overtime. A HS diploma and passing a background check are essential, with OSHA 10 as a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent mechanical reasoning.
• Good perception of math applications, weights, measurement, and balance.
• Flexible schedule, able to travel, and able to work overtime.
• Must pass a drug test, fit for duty assessment, and background check.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Aligns, levels, and anchors cranes and equipment.
• Assembles and installs supporting structures, rigging, hoist, and pulling gear.
• Connects pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps.
• Cleans and dresses machine and surfaces of parts.
• Controls movements of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces.
• Dismantles, maintains, and stores rigging equipment.
• Manipulates rigging lines, hoists to move or support materials, steel, and concrete.
• Selects gears, cables, and shackles according to load size, facilities, and work schedule.
• Signals or directs workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety.
• Tests rigging to ensure safety and reliability.
• ProLift training via internal LMS; third-party and customer training may be required.
• Other duties as assigned/requested.
