Jobot is actively seeking a Journeyman Plumber for permanent, full-time work in the Cincinnati and Columbus markets. The role offers great benefits, growth, and long-term stability on large-scale construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Journeyman license with 5+ years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience, be safety-focused, and proficient with leak detection tools, pressure gauges, and various piping materials. OSHA 10/30 and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman license with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial/industrial plumbing.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications are required.
• Experience with pressure gauges and leak-detection tools.
• Experience installing storm, sanitary, gas, vent and water piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Following state and local plumbing regulations to ensure all work is up to code.
• Utilizing pressure gauges and other tools for leak detection and to monitor system functionality.
• Installing and repairing piping using couplings, cement, plastic solvents, clamps, welding equipment, and brazing.
• Hanging steel supports from joists to hold pipes in place.
• Installing piping systems and connecting fixtures to these systems.
• Adhering to OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 safety guidelines on every job site.
• Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled, dedicated, and enthusiastic Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale, multi-phase construction projects. Our ideal candidate is a safety-conscious professional who can efficiently and effectively handle a variety of plumbing tasks, from installing piping systems to detecting leaks.

Responsibilities

1. Following state and local plumbing regulations to ensure all work is up to code.
2. Utilizing pressure gauges and other tools for leak detection and to monitor the functionality of plumbing systems.
3. Employing various materials and tools such as couplings, cement, plastic solvents, clamps, welding equipment, and brazing to repair and install plumbing systems.
4. Hanging steel supports from joists to hold pipes in place during installation or repair.
5. Installing storm, sanitary, gas, vent, and water piping systems and connecting fixtures and plumbing to these systems.
6. Ensuring safety is a priority on every job site by adhering to OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 guidelines.
7. Operating hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications

1. A valid Journeyman license with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial / industrial plumbing field.
2. Knowledge of state and local plumbing regulations.
3. Proficiency in using pressure gauges and leak detection tools.
4. Experience with couplings, cement, plastic solvents, clamps, welding equipment, and brazing.
5. Ability to hang steel supports from joists to hold pipes in place.
6. Experience in installing storm, sanitary, gas, vent, and water piping systems and connecting fixtures and plumbing to these systems.
7. OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.
8. A clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
9. Ability to pass a drug test.
10. Experience working on large-scale, multi-phase construction projects.
11. Strong English language skills.
12. A strong focus on safety.
13. Ability to work with hand and power tools in a safe manner.
