Job summary

GrayWolf is seeking Journeyman Pipefitters for our Savannah, GA job site. You must bring the required tools and a locking box on arrival to perform the job.

A Journeyman Pipefitter fabricates butt weld, threaded, and socket weld pipe, installs above and underground piping, hangers, valves, and inline specialties with precise math and blueprint reading. Safety and readiness for 12-hour shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years minimum heavy industrial field experience as a Pipefitter.
• Must have locking tool box and tools necessary to perform the job.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.
• Provide OSHA 10 card and/or obtain OSHA 10 within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Pipefitting safety – work safely around hazards of the pipefitting field.
• Use hand, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools safely.
• Construction math including fractions, decimals, geometry, trigonometry.
• Identify parts and types of drawings and interpret drawing indexes and line lists.
• Read piping arrangement drawings and interpret P&ID’s, isometrics.
