Job summary

Graywolf Integrated Construction Company in Rincon, GA seeks a Journeyman Pipefitter for a heavy industrial project. Expect fabricating butt weld, threaded, and socket weld pipe, installing piping, hangers, supports, and valves on site with attention to safety and quality.

Candidates must have at least four years of pipefitting experience, own a toolbox, and meet pre-hire requirements. Per diem and 7-day work schedule apply; project expected to run through year-end.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of heavy industrial field experience as a pipefitter.
• Able to perform material takeoffs, figure offsets, take off to fittings and rigging.
• Must have locking toolbox and tools necessary to perform the job.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pipefitting safety on site.
• Use hand, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools safely.
• Construction math including fractions, decimals, geometry, trigonometry.
• Read drawings and identify parts from drawing indexes and line lists.
• Interpret GPS coordinates, elevations, and P&ID plan views.
• Identify and install valves and actuators; manage storage of valves.
• Identify pipe hangers and supports; determine placement.
• Threaded pipe fabrication and offset calculations.
• Socket weld and butt weld pipe fabrication.
• Rigging equipment safety and operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
