Job summary

Graywolf Integrated Construction Company is seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter for the Rincon, GA job site. The project runs through the year with a 5-10 schedule, per diem eligibility over 60 miles, and pay of $37-38 hourly based on NCCER credentials.

Minimum four years of heavy industrial field experience required. The candidate must bring a locking toolbox and tools, complete pre-hire requirements, and be able to perform material takeoffs and rigging as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Four years minimum heavy industrial field experience as a Pipefitter.
• Must have locking toolbox and tools necessary to perform the job.
• Able to complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pipefitting Safety – work safely around hazards in the Pipefitting field.
• Pipefitting Tools – use hand, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools safely.
• Construction Math – competency in fractions, decimals, geometry, formulae, trigonometry.
• Drawing and Detail Sheets – identify parts and drawings and interpret indexes.
• Advanced Blueprint Reading – interpret piping arrangement drawings and isometric views.
• Identifying and Installing Valves – identify valve purposes and actuators.
• Pipe Hangers and Supports – identify and install hangers and supports.
• Threaded Pipe Fabrication – identify materials and read joint drawings, calculate offsets.
• Socket Weld/Butt Weld Pipe Fabrication – identify fittings and read pipe drawings.
• Rigging Equipment – use basic and special rigging procedures and equipment.
