Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking skilled pipefitters to plan, lay out, install, test and repair piping systems in accordance with project plans, specs and industry standards.

Candidates should be capable of reading isometrics, fabricating and installing piping, welding joints, and rigging as needed while maintaining safety and efficiency on a busy construction site. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• - Must understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• - Proficient with electrical/hand tools and layout tools; safety-minded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of pipe types and systems (butt/socket/glued/fused).
• Read isometric drawings and take measurements for fabrication.
• Align, bolt, clamp, and weld components as required.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and equipment per specs.
• Position materials and install items per plans and specs.
• Inspect work and correct deficiencies per contract.
