Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled Pipefitter Journeyman to plan, lay out, install, test and repair piping systems on an industrial site in Texas. The role requires reading isometrics, fabricating and installing piping, and ensuring compliance with plans and codes.

Candidates must have power plant/industrial experience, strong tool proficiency, and be able to work in variable outdoor conditions, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Journeyman pipefitter with power plant/industrial experience.
• Ability to read and follow plans and specifications.
• Proficient in safe use of electrical/hand/power tools and layout tools.
• Ability to pass safety, drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of pipe types and joints (butt, socket, threaded, Victaulic).
• Read isometrics, measure, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt and clamp components for welding.
• Assemble pipes and fittings per specifications via welding and threading.
• Install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe and supports.
• Hydro test piping systems and verify integrity.
• Inspect work for contract compliance and address deficiencies.
