Austin Industrial is seeking an experienced Journeyman for on-site industrial work in Texas. The position pays $35 per hour and requires a minimum of 5 years Journeyman experience, NCCER certification, a TWIC card, and a valid driver’s license.

Typical duties include installing, repairing, replacing, and dismantling machinery and heavy equipment. You will work with cranes and hand/power tools, align machines, test units, bolt and weld components, and perform site assembly activities.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• NCCER certification required.
• TWIC Card and Driver’s License required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• On-site work in industrial environments.

Responsabilidades

• Replace defective parts of machines or adjust clearances and alignment.
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, and precision instruments.
• Connect power unit to machines or piping and test to evaluate mechanical operation.
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
• Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools.
• Lay out mounting holes and position parts per blueprints and drawings.
