Job summary

Wind Creek is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems. This is a Journeyman level position.

The role involves diagnosing equipment issues, testing systems, recording maintenance activities, and supporting renovation projects as needed. Candidate should have or obtain required maintenance certifications or a journeyman/master electrician license, and be prepared for on-site work

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and plan to complete within six months as a condition of continued employment.
• Trade license or journeyman/master electrician with appropriate certifications/credentials as listed in job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complies with applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and clean work area.
• Repairs or replaces defective equipment, components, or wiring.
• Tests electrical circuits and components for continuity using test equipment.
• Inspects and tests system to verify compliance with plans and specs and locate malfunctions.
• Maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures and work orders.
• Assists with renovation/remodeling of buildings and related tasks.
