Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair on buildings, mechanical equipment, and utility systems. This Journeyman level role supports facilities across the property and may require night/weekend hours.

The candidate should have at least three years of commercial property maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Journeyman or equivalent maintenance certification preferred
• Must have at least three (3) years general commercial property maintenance experience
• Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position

Responsibilities

• Complies with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area
• Repairs or replaces defective equipment, components, or wiring
• Tests electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
• Reassembles and tests equipment following repairs
• Inspects and tests system to verify system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions
• Records and reports all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders
• Installs auxiliary components to heating-cooling equipment, such as expansion and discharge valves, air ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, etc.
