Job summary

IES Commercial Inc. dba IES Electrical in Nebraska is seeking a full-time Journeyman Lineman Foreman to lead transmission and distribution line work. Travel is required, with safety as a priority.

You will mentor apprentices, erect and replace poles, operate aerial trucks and digger derricks, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Per Diem eligibility applies and a $5,000 new hire bonus after six months is offered.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited Journeyman Lineman program or documented Journeyman Lineman through verifiable experience.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to read construction documents.
• CDL Class A or ability to obtain.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test and MVR check (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of electrical transmission and distribution lines.
• Work with and mentor apprentices in safety and on the job training.
• Erect, frame, climb and replace poles.
• Operate aerial trucks, digger derricks and associated equipment.
• Comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel required
