Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, is seeking a full-time Journeyman Lineman Foreman to lead construction, maintenance and repair of electrical transmission and distribution lines in Nebraska. Per Diem eligibility applies, plus a $5,000 new hire bonus after 6 months.

Travel is required, and visa sponsorship is not available. You will supervise apprentices, install and maintain lines, erect poles, and operate aerial trucks/digger derricks while adhering to safety policies and customer

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience and leadership were required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Travel is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of electrical transmission and distribution lines.
• Mentor apprentices in safety and on-the-job training.
• Erect, frame, climb and replace poles.
• Operate aerial trucks, digger derricks and related equipment.
• Comply with company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel is required.
