Job summary

Dynetek Solutions is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground distribution systems. You will work from bucket trucks and other equipment, lead crews in the Foreman’s absence, and ensure compliance with NESC and company safety standards.

The role requires a completed Lineman apprenticeship or equivalent experience, Journeyman certification, CDL, and OSHA 10. We offer weekly pay, per diem, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Lineman apprenticeship program or equivalent field experience.
• Journeyman Lineman certification or verifiable journeyman experience.
• Proficient in overhead and underground distribution construction/maintenance.
• Knowledge of NESC and safe grounding/clearance procedures.
• Experience with energized (hot) line work using rubber gloving and hot-stick methods.
• Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• CPR/First Aid and pole-top/bucket rescue certification (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, on-call, and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground lines/equipment.
• Install/maintain poles, cross-arms, insulators, transformers, switches.
• Perform energized and de-energized line work with proper PPE.
• Frame/set poles; string and sag conductors; bucket work.
• Handle underground primary/secondary cable and pad-mount transformers.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and related gear.
• Ensure grounding and PPE protocols are followed.
• Assist with outages, storm restoration, and safety briefings.
• Read/interpret construction prints, work orders, and standards.
• Direct apprentices/groundmen and conduct safety meetings.
• Complete job site reports and material usage documentation.
