Mortenson is seeking a Laborer Journeyman responsible for preparing, handling, and supplying materials for use by other crafts on our construction sites. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, erecting scaffolding, leveling ground, tending mortar and grout, moving materials, and general site cleanup.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year apprenticeship program.
• Experience in construction preferred.
• Ability to operate power and non-powered hand tools and equipment.
• Strong teamwork orientation and effective communication skills.
• Repetitive motions and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and staging.
• Level ground for scaffolding and prepare work areas.
• Tend mortar and grout and move materials between wheelbarrows and buckets.
• General site cleanup and debris removal.
• Place, push, and vibrate concrete as needed.
• Provide guidance to junior laborers and collaborate with diverse teams.
• All other duties as assigned.
