Mortenson is actively seeking a Laborer Journeyman to support on-site material handling, scaffolding setup, and concrete work within our construction teams. The role emphasizes safe, efficient material movement and collaboration with diverse crew members.

The position requires completion of a two-year apprenticeship, construction experience is preferred, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment. Union benefits apply, with a base pay of $40.00–$47.00 per hour.

Qualificações

• Completion of two-year apprenticeship program.
• Experience in construction preferred.
• Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers; forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies.
• Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and professional customer service skills; detail orientation; active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding (5X7X16) and staging.
• Level ground for scaffolding.
• Tend mortar and grout.
• Lift, unload, move, set, and shovel mortar and grout between wheelbarrows and buckets.
• General cleanup and clearing of debris, including sweeping, cleaning, washing, and unloading or burning debris.
• Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete.
• Vibrate concrete.
• Provide work direction and guidance to Laborer I, II, Helpers, and Apprentice.
• All other duties as assigned.
