Qualifications

• Four or more years in heavy industrial ironwork.
• NCCER journeyman verification required for Level II/III.
• Reading ISO's, blueprints and P&IDs is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Plan job from erection drawings and set up hoisting equipment.
• Raise and position structural steel with basic rigging knowledge.
• Bolt and weld steel members in place after alignment.
• Read drawings and ensure precise alignment with plumb bob and level.
• Operate cranes and guide steel components into position.
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment.
