Job summary

LPR Construction in Texas seeks a Journeyman Ironworker to join our field team. You will perform structural iron and steel erection tasks and work under supervision to complete installations safely and on schedule. Experience with Stick welding (SMAW) in 3G/4G, bolt-up connections, rigging, and crane-assisted placements is required.

Qualifications

• Welding in SMAW 3G/4G positions is required.
• Structural steel erection experience is required.
• Must be able to rig and hoist structural members.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions.
• Commitment to safety and PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks related to structural iron and steel erection.
• Install and weld steel members per blueprints.
• Assemble stairs, handrails and guardrails as needed.
• Coordinate with crane operators for lifting operations.
• Perform field fabrication in the job site environment.
