Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an experienced Ironworker in Wisconsin to join our field teams. You will set up hoisting equipment, position steel members, bolt and weld as required, and travel to project sites while maintaining strict safety standards.

The role demands 4+ years of ironworking experience and preference for NCCER certification. A strong safety mindset and ability to work long shifts are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project regulations.
• Attend toolbox meetings and promote safe work practices.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Perform basic weight/measurement calculations and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Set up hoisting equipment for raising and placing structural-steel members.
• Fasten steel members to hoist cables and guide into position.
• Signal hoist operator to lift and place members accurately.
• Align holes and bolt members; ensure proper positioning until permanent connections.
• Cut and weld steel as required to modifications on site.
• Travel to different job sites as needed and adhere to safety standards.
