Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an Ironworker to raise, place, and connect girders, columns, and other structural-steel members for projects across multiple sites. You will operate hoisting equipment, assist with alignment, and ensure safety policies are followed on every job.

The role requires 4+ years of ironworking experience, potential NCCER certification, and willingness to travel up to 90% to on-site project locations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Ironworker role
• NCCER Certification/License (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Set up hoisting equipment for raising and placing structural-steel members
• Bolt aligned members to keep them in position until they can be permanently bolted or welded in place
• Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of members using plumb bob and level
• May travel to different jobsites on limited notice
• Maintain a professional appearance
