Job summary
Watts Water Technologies in Menomonee Falls, WI is hiring a Maintenance Industrial Mechanic Journeyman to support production equipment and facility infrastructure onsite. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot advanced mechanical systems and work closely with engineering to commission new equipment.
The ideal candidate has a journeyman certification and 2+ years of industrial experience with strong PLC/electrical skills.
Qualifications
- Journeyman certification in Industrial Mechanics/Millwright or equivalent.
- 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing experience.
- Hands-on electrical experience from low voltage through 480V.
- Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and robotics.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
- LOTO, confined space, hot work, and elevated work safety.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot CNC-based equipment and mechanical issues.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro‑mechanical systems.
- Perform precision maintenance on production equipment, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes.
- Rebuild and overhaul machinery to OEM specs; perform alignment and balancing.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and robotics cells.
- Document repairs and modifications; support new equipment installations and line moves.
