Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team in West Carrollton, Ohio. The Automotive Technician will maintain delivery vehicles, heavy‑duty tractors, and trailers across multiple manufacturers, using diagnostics to troubleshoot diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion systems.

Candidates must have 5 years Journeyman experience and a CDL Class A or B, with willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Experience as Journeyman Automotive Mechanic with medium/heavy-duty vehicles.
• DOT inspections experience and diagnostic tool familiarity.
• Ability to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
• CDL Class A or B is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a diverse range of equipment including delivery vehicles and heavy-duty tractors.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.
• Meet DOT requirements for job assignment.
• Operate standard/manual transmissions and power tools.
