PRT Staffing in Santa Teresa, NM seeks a Journeyman Low Voltage Electrician for a data center construction project. The role involves leading and supporting low-voltage and telecommunications installs, reading blueprints, and coordinating daily tasks to meet project specs.

You will work with fiber optic and copper cabling, install pathways, racks, and patch panels, and collaborate with crews to ensure safety and quality on a long-term, full-time assignment with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active journeyman electrician license.
• Experience in electrical/low-voltage or commercial construction.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specs.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsabilités

• $150 daily per diem for each day worked

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead and support low-voltage and telecommunications infrastructure installations within a data center construction environment.
• Work with crews installing fiber optic and copper cabling systems.
• Assist with the installation of cable pathways, racks, cabinets, patch panels, and associated infrastructure.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and installation specifications.
• Coordinate daily installation activities and support project schedules.
• Ensure installations meet project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving installation issues.
• Work alongside fiber optic specialists and other trades to support project completion.
• Maintain daily progress reports and installation documentation as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active qualifying journeyman electrician license.
• Experience working in electrical, low-voltage, telecommunications, or commercial construction environments.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and installation instructions.
• Ability to work effectively with construction crews and other trades.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and overtime as required.
• Ability to pass required background screening, drug testing, and site onboarding.
