Job summary

Amteck, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Electrician 1 to work under a Foreman or Superintendent in the Irving, TX area. The role involves installing conduit, devices, and panels, reading blueprints, and wiring power and lighting circuits.

You will lead a small crew of Helpers and Apprentices and participate in field training to grow skills across divisions. The position requires strong troubleshooting abilities, safety discipline, and willingness to work weekends/overtime as projects demand.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lead and mentor Helpers and Apprentices on site.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work at heights safely.

Responsibilities

• Install, measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panel boards, and feeders.
• Read and interpret drawings and project documents; lay out work from drawings.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
• Lead and mentor junior workers on the job site.
