Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Journeyman Electrician 1 to work under a Foreman or Superintendent and potentially oversee a small crew. The role involves installing, altering and repairing electrical systems, and opportunities to learn in low voltage, controls, fire alarm, and other electrical trades.

The candidate should have 5–7 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings, and a willingness to participate in training and fieldwork, including overtime.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Demonstrate ability to read and interpret project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Willingness to learn and grow across divisions and to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit using tools.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panel boards, and conductors.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of circuiting and project documentation.
• Lead and mentor Helpers and Apprentices on site.
