Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. is seeking a supervising electrician to oversee assigned craft workers, interpret blueprints and job orders, and ensure safety and quality on projects. You will document safety activities, resolve field issues, and may travel as required.

The candidate should have a Journeyman license, OSHA 10 or ability to obtain, and at least five years of electrical field experience. Background checks will be conducted as part of employment.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of recent commercial electrical field experience.
• Current state Electrical Journeyman license.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain it.
• Pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when operating vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for supervision.
• Confirms completion & documentation of project safety activities as directed.
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Completes other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Travel may be required.
