Job summary

Colorado Department of Military & Veterans Affairs (DMVA) seeks an Electrical Trades II to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems at Buckley Space Force Base and remote sites in Colorado. The role requires a valid journeyman electrician license and the ability to work ten-hour days, four days a week, with on-call hours during weather events.

Preferred candidates hold a State CDL and are willing to work in confined spaces, with medium/high voltage, and at heights up to 75 feet.

Qualifications

• Current, valid journeyman electrician license from the Colorado Electrical Board.
• No substitutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, design, modify, repair electrical systems for light, heat, power and other purposes.
• Perform electrical maintenance on facility systems.
• Read codes and diagrams for correct design and installation.
• Complete material ordering, time accounting and work orders.
• Operate and monitor electrical equipment with computerized tools.
