Job summary
Green Bay Packaging in Morrilton, AR is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician to provide hands‑on technical support for plant instrumentation and electrical control systems. The role involves working with PLCs, drives, substations, and power distribution to keep operations running smoothly.
You will document changes, back up programs, and assist in maintenanceShutdowns and capital projects, while engaging in reliability programs such as thermography and motor
Qualifications
- Technical degree or Journeyman certificate in industrial E&I field with relevant experience.
- Paper mill or other industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross‑level messaging.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, noisy and hot/cold environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands‑on technical support for instrumentation and electrical control systems across manufacturing operations.
- Support PLCs, drives, and other control systems.
- Assist with 13.8 kV power distribution, substations, MCCs, 4160V and 480V motors.
- Document changes, back up programs, and update schematics/drawings.
- Support plant shutdowns, capital projects, and reliability programs.
